I have long wanted a device that would allow me to connect a USB device to 2 computers, and decide which I wanted to physically connect at a given moment by using a switch. Today I was particularly annoyed not to be able to do so easily, and I've therefore decided to more offically define the project. A 8PDT switch would allow me to switch 2 USB devices (mouse and keyboard). The only other required components are 4 female USB jacks, and 2 male leads.
